Detailed Description:

The Rivergate Plant is located in Portland, Oregon, near the fork of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers. This is a recent addition to Graymont’s network of lime production and transfer facilities throughout the western US. The Rivergate Plant provides Graymont with increased hydrating capacity, while elevating our ability to supply quicklime and hydrated lime into the greater Oregon and Washington market.

In addition to offering ample silo storage of quicklime and hydrated lime, the plant has the bagging facilities necessary to supply both products in either bin bags or paper bags. Recent upgrades include equipment to unload incoming rail shipments of quicklime, while the addition of a second scale ensures timely and accurate loading of bulk trucks.
