Detailed Description:

Graymont's Summit Lime Plant is located in the Crowsnest Pass area of Southern Alberta. Stone is quarried and crushed to size for processing through two continuous gas fired vertical kilns. The plant includes a hydrating and calcium carbonate grinding facility. Bulk storage exists for 320 tonnes (350 tons) of hydrated lime, 950 tonnes (1,050 tons) of crushed lime and 330 tonnes (360 tons) of pulverized lime. Warehousing for 1,800 tonnes (2,000 tons) of bagged product is available.
