Driving Directions:
From the north from Interstate 87: Take exit #25 near Chestertown and go west on SR 8/US 9 for about 8 miles, then bear left and continue on SR 8 towards Wells for 29 miles. Turn left (south) onto SR 30 and travel about 3 miles to Wells Quarry which is on the right side of the road.
From the south from Interstate 87: Take exit #15 and go west then south on SR 50/US 9 to the intersection of SR 29 (General Philip Schuyler Hwy.) and turn right (west). Travel about 23 miles to SR 30 and turn right. After .3 miles, turn left to stay on SR 30. Travel about 30 miles to Wells, the quarry is north of Wells on SR 30 on the left side of the road.
From the south from Interstate 90: Take exit #27 near Amsterdam and travel north on SR 30 approximately 40 miles. (OR Take exit #28 near Amsterdam and travel north on SR 30A, then continue on SR 30 when the name of the road changes - approximately 40 miles.) You will travel through Wells, the quarry is north of Wells on SR 30 on the left side of the road.
