(Plattsburgh, New York, February 11, 2007) – After just one year producing Redi-Rock retaining wall blocks, Graymont Materials has tripled the size of its market territory. Through the Fall and Winter of 2006, Graymont negotiated Exclusive License Agreements for most of the Province of Quebec. Shortly after that, the Materials Division negotiated with Carroll Concrete to take over as a sub-licensee for the Capital Region of New York State. Future expansion in New York is also possible.

     “With the expansion options negotiated into these new agreements, we have the potential to become the largest Redi-Rock dealer in North America,” said Todd Kempainen, President and CEO of Graymont Materials, Inc.
