(September 29, 2006) -- Graymont's website was recently awarded the "Web Site of the Year" award by Pit & Quarry Magazine, having been selected from a field of over 200 industry web sites. Pit & Quarry's Success Story Awards Program has been selecting outstanding web sites for the past eight years based on criteria such as ease of use, quality content and pleasing web site design.

     Winning features of the Graymont site were the bi-lingual presentation, detailed product specification information, safety and community relations information, career opportunities and maps with driving directions to all the Graymont locations.

     The many employees who contributed to the creation of the site are all to be congratulated, with special recognition going to the web design firm, Checkmate Productions.
